waht is the best way to remove an old gasket of of a water pump, turns out my pump is fine and its just a bad gasket.

Is there any special tool for it, or just use the razor blade?

A soft 1" paint scraper makes a good gasket scraper. For fine work, I break off a 5" section of an old hack saw blade and then grind & smooth the break to a sharp edge. Wrap a little tape around top part to make a confortable handle. Just be careful not to gouge the soft aluminum with the hard steel of your scraper.
