I am running AWSF22FS Motorcraft plugs. Tommorow I will be checking the coil pack grounds, and plug wire routing. I am also planning on pulling the plugs to make sure they are not too fouled, since it has been running very rich. I don't have a knock sensor. It seems some 99' 2.5L's were not equiped with one. I am doubtful this is what caused the blips. After looking at my hp/torque breakdowns tonight in more detail, I realized the 192 was the blip when I mashed on it in 4th. Chris already started on my new program, it should be VERY interesting to see the new dyno plots. I do have some IAT and CTS datalogging to do first however, so we can determine at what temps. to start pulling out some timing.

I don't want to knock it because alot of work goes into these hybrid swaps, but IMO that seems low? Y2KSVT dynoed at that with a pretty much stock swap, except has has the msds headers and the 75mm MAF. I'm going the same route you are, and I honestly will be disappointed if I don't break 220.....IIRC the only difference I am going is SS UIM&LIM....just my .02 I hope you the best on your tunign!

He started with 200/200 flywheel and he almost has that at the wheels, and it isn't even tuned yet. 220 whp is a major stretch out of a 3L NA that we can do in our garages (ie exclude jjennings (davidZ's engine)). I would not be dissappointed with 205-215 WHP out of a 3L NA!

Tom did it. That's just my basing is what tom did when his car was nah. 215hp @ the wheels IIRC. I would think with another 1pt of compression he should surpass that. I really don't think 220 is a stretch. Just my .02, guess I'll find out whenever the hell I can finish putting my car together. Kinda hard to do that from Africa!

I think that was with no exhaust system just to see the restrictions. Tom can clarify though.
What the heck are you doing in Africa! LOL!

Well its disapointing to me as for I have a very close setup to his. I get disapointed when I have friends with NA honda's with the same amount of work to their engine as I do mine, have very close to those hp numbers. Of course they don't have the TQ near that but their cars weigh like 2200 lbs. So you can figure out what happens when we race

Mostly right. 217 with no exhaust, 214 with Keysers borrowed 75mm pro-m maf stuck on. 19# inj. and no tuning available. After exhaust improvements, FSVT 17" wheels, louvered core resonator (later removed), still using stock air intake system and tuning with my emanage, I got 207 wHP in street trim. With a good air intake system it should have rose back up to the mid teens in full street trim. I was very proud of that. Of course, I DID mod my intake system and I got a lot more power from it! You should see what a big filter and a spinning fan in the intake does to an SVT Tom
