You might try talking to a windshield shop. The stuff they buy has the same Loctite part number but it is in a larger container. Also they use it often enough that it is fresher (very important) I've had better luck with this than I have with the small tube. If you catch the guys at the glass shop in a good mood, they just might do it for free.
