Did it myself, several layers of primer and 3-4 coats of the color matched paint from any auto parts store. Hopefully those holes will be gone soon. I never had sidemarkers.

I like the door dings gone, but I dunno about the mirror surrounds. Having them painted body color seems to add visual weight up at the beltline where it's not really needed. But this is coming from a guy who doesn't like ground effects of any kind on a Contour, either.

I think it would look balanced out if you paint the sail panels as well.
