I live outside of Detroit so I hear it a LOT!
PS no offense to African-Americans, but "ebonics" are a cop-out for being too lazy to speak proper English IMHO.
Oh, now I understand. Without starting a flame-war here, let's just say I am not exposed to much diversity in my town and college.

When a customer (who I don't know at all) says, "So what are you gonna do for me?"
After going on a tangent about how bad my company's product is and how he is disappointed... Yeah makes me want to help!

SAME DIFFERENCE. my youngest (14) son says it every time he loses a argument. As for Hubby I call my husband that all the time. It is a term of endearment to us. When I am mad he wishes I would call him my hubby!!!
