The Bostonian accent! Some of my friends have it pretty bad (and go figure they're all related to one another, gotta love my hometown). One of them pronounces the "r" so strongly that we make fun of him for it every time.

I've said this one before, but I can't stand when people write "it's" in place of "its".
"IT'S" is the contraction for "IT IS." There is NO other meaning. If you substitute "it is" into the sentence and it sounds stupid, then in that case you should use the possessive "its."
(for example: the dog knows it's place, the dog knows it is place)
