"axe," awesome Stazi... My peeve is redneck English like "the cancer." As in, "he got the cancer in '99." As if there is only one. And Wal-Mart S; Kroger S; generally adding an "S" to proper nouns yet with no possession. It's one thing to be older and uneducated and speak incorrectly, but for those 40 and under there is no excuse.

In retrospect, it was all downhill from here. RIP, CEG.

"What did you think about that Dorothy girl?"
"The whole Judy Garland thing kinda turned me on. That doesn't make me some sort of fag does it?
"Nah baby, your money."

I hate it when people type "alot" instead of "a lot". The phrase is two [censored] words people, TWO [censored] WORDS!! Did anyone who types on the goddamn internet get through third grade? Come on now...

Oh yeah, that reminds me. saying excape. Another one that I just thought of... not that common but my roommate in college used to say it all the time. He added a "t" to the word "once". "Every oncet in a while."

People who say ig'nant instead of ignorant. People who call me at work (a bank) and say that they were charged an insignificant funds charge (should be insufficient). Also, my g/f says "unless" every time she should say "otherwise." It makes me want to scream.

Doesn't really bother me, but it is a common error: reoccuring or some say re-occuring.
The correct word is recurrent , but I seldom observe it used.

On the phone talking to customer and I tell them to press a button on their keypad. Then they come back and tell me they 'MASHED the button'. You mash potatos, not buttons. Yea, hub sounds strange too.

thought of more: my mom says "idear" instead of idea she also says "'n stuff" at the end of a lot of sentences!
