My peeve is redneck English like "the cancer." As in, "he got the cancer in '99." As if there is only one.

And Wal-MartS; KrogerS; generally adding an "S" to proper nouns yet with no possession.



It's one thing to be older and uneducated and speak incorrectly, but for those 40 and under there is no excuse.
