That is a really sweet buncha' electronics to play with! I can't think of anything else to put into it.
My first thought for an improvement would be to ditch the 2" firring strip holding up the trunk lid & put some cross springs in behind the upper panel. I think the brackets exist in my '99, just no rods to spring up the trunk.
It looks like some of the electronics may be mounted in the way of a set of cross springs, so a couple of strongarms would do the trick if you could figure a way to fit them on.
