My exhaust sounds totally different to ANY Contour out there as I have a turbo, but many others on the board have installed the Magnaflow resonators I am selling. If it is to NOT sound like a fart-can equipped Honda, then a resonator IS what you want, as the lack of one gives you a lot of rasp = sounding like a coffee can full of angry Bumble-Bees. Ironically I don't have a resonator on my car, I took it out of the inital turbo exhaust setup I had as my car was quieter than stock - no joke. The turbo does subdue the exhaust note a lot. Add into the mix the high flow 3" cat I have and the Magnaflow "Camaro-style" muffler at the back, and the exhaust note soundsgood now. Not quiet, but not obnoxious either. 2000 SVT Turbo 295hp/269ftlb@12psi #1 for Bendix Brakes Kits! A slight rumble at idle and lower and louder than stock up to 2500 RPM. Crusing on the highway is just slightly louder than stock SVT. I like it.
