I'm getting a diablo chip from a mustang GT, and I was wondering can they be flashed to work for my zetec. I know that a chip for a tour can be flashed with a new code for a tour, but not sure about a stang to a tour.

Most of the gasoline powered Ford use the same chip....just different programs.

Since my question wasn't answered in the first chip thread, I am aking Mr. Costaneda again:

Why u had to remove the white bracket - on Chris's web page everything looks just fine.... doesn't it?

Also, why ECU needs to be removed completely for placing this chip in, ins't that possible just to slide it while it's in its place - beneath the glove comp.?

You have to remove the computer to remove the protective coating from the contacts. A scrub pad should work just fine. It's 1000x easier to do outside of the car. The bracket is not needed according to my Superchips instructions and I'm sure thwe same will hold true for the Diablo Chip.
