Oh, but little do you know that they are a VERY BAD choice with nitrous of any kind, not just a NOS setup. You see platinum is a catalyst; its used in chemical experiments, some catalytic converters and other things because it can cause a reaction to proceed spontaneously just by its very presence. Nitrous and fuel will sometimes go without the aid of the spark when platinum plugs are used resulting in a serious backfire that can destroy your engine.
