Just purchased a used tranny for $150 (less than 20,000 miles), and I am sending it off to Terry.
Getting a Quaife!
And the internals upgraded with new (stronger) parts.
Also thought I might throw in a Fidanza flywheel at the same time.
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

Auto junk yard in California listed it on Ebay.
I asked a few questions, had them send me a few more pics, and it looked legit and in great condition.
Its was already pulled and sitting in a crate ready to ship to the winner.
Comes with a 6 month parts warranty too!

Nice deal on the tranny. I had a question though. I wanted to have my flywheel lightened. I'am working on a budget and I wanted to do as much with out spending much. I already have a T3 turbo that I found at the local junkyard for $20. Now I'am looking for other things that might help me save some more money. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey sleeper, are you getting a "bulldog" also, I love mine, it looks so cool under the hood(you can see the tranny easily once the battery and stock intake are gone) and it shifts like a dream. I got my bell housing painted silver and the lube lines T-red. Terry does excellent work and is a pleasure to work with. Definately get a fidanza, mine rocks, revs don't fall off at all between shifts. You will need a new clutch if you get a fidanza though, just take your pick of a focus one, and good luck.

Not a full bulldog box, more of a custom one.
I've talked with Terry and he's got it all planned out.
Something tailored more for the sudden power increase of nitrous than the constant power of a Turbo or S/C.
Yeah, the Fidanza is a must, get the revs up quicker and keep them there.
Clutch is still good, so i'm not worrying about it right now.

no you are part right... lighter fly wheel gets the revs up quicker but does NOT hold them there. they drop quicker with the lighter flywheel, which is why I will keep the stock one it revs up quick enough, and holds it up there between gears.

I'd rather have quicker revs.
