That's my point ... a COMBINED class for ALL Contours , regardless of badging , year , color , race , creed , religious affiliation .

I think we should just do "bling" and "non-bling".

Wow, you own a PULPIT!?!
Well, it was just a thought and don't you dare go thinking I don't appreciate the work both of you two did - I certainly reaped the benefits.
However, it IS a car show and I just want everyone to have a competitive chance. That's all I'm trying to say. To just sit back however and not do anything as far as continuing to further the group isn't a good idea, either. That's all I'm saying.

Sal, you're weiwd.

We'd better, there's no reason more people can't participate!! It was a lot of fun even with the weather which was unusual for that weekend. My girl says the last four or five weekends were all nice.

Well said Allen, well said.

There was a lot of behind the scenes effort made, and people are b1tching about not having separate SVT and Contour categories?

-Allen and I mailed over 40 registration forms out.
-I personally PM'd over 40 people asking them about whether or not they had registered yet.
-Allen busted his butt with Carlisle Productions to get our own class and get extensions on the deadline to do so!
-It took us well over the deadline to get the 25 cars we needed.

People are missing the all important fact that we barely avoided getting thrown in with the Escorts and getting our own class this year.

I mean look (IIRC), 2nd and 3rd places went to non-SVTs.

Let's all just be happy that we get our own class.

I say we have a mystery Contour group. For when you just can't tell what kind it is.

"No dawg... it's a Type-R. I seen me on of dem in Import Straight Thrillaz magazine yo."
