I think it'll be ok... up until it stopped it was running very sluggish uphill.. parked at idle and slightly revved I could hear some rattle beneath the rear (right?) valve cover, but it was feeling normal downhill and shifting smoothly etc... couldn't tell anything was wrong until it required some torque... then it lost all power going uphill... but it did no loud clanking, no strange sounds when that happened... wouldn't start after that though it was trying... no unusual sounds while cranking either.... I think it's not operating the rear cams at all... shop is closed on weekends and the mechanic on duty could only spend about 5-10 minutes for first-impressions on Friday... he said though it wouldn't start it was turning the front cam(s) but couldn't see the rear cams but didn't think they were turning... I'm guessing he was checking the cam position through the oil fill hole.
Sorry if I'm being redundant... just trying to cover all bases and provide as much info as possible.
Thanks for the support :)
