Wouldn't be at all suprised to find that it was indeed a blown head gasket. June 1998, had my 95 GL mtx for about a year. It started drinking coolant big time. Pullen Ford,of Waterville, ME diagnoses: blown head gasket. The car only had 60,maybe 65k on the clock. (ESP covered it, amen)

So...yes..it can happen.

When I was writing service for Ford it seemed like we had a Focus or Contour in there all the time with Head gasket Problems.. Sucks I know.. But good luck and just give your car loving words because she is about to go into surgery...

P.S. How would you feel if you were gonna have a heart transplant?? :p
