That's odd. I noticed my IAT temps run remarkably cooler with a cold air draw from the front air damn. The IAT gets to ambient temp in a matter of seconds when the car is moving! In cooler weather it is even possibly below ambient on the highway.
I even have plenty of data logs to prove this as well.
What data do you have to back up your claims???
Any time you have cooler air entering the engine you will make more power. The filter type DOES NOT matter!
Folks alls these facts about the KKM are well documented. A little research before you bought it would have saved you some money, netted you more power, and not garnered you any of the bad side effects of an inverse cone filter.
The information is all there for those that search. By not searching you hurt yourself. Whining about it afterwards is very lame when you could have saved yourself the aggravation by not being so damn lazy in the first place.
