Let's see if I can scrounge up some obscure old nameplates: Remember the Ford Fiesta (not the crappy little Festiva) from around the mid-70's? It had a tiny little Kent-block four cylinder making about 40 hp, but it weighed less than 2000 lb., so it was still pretty quick. If my dad still had his, he could hand my a$$ to me at the AutoX. Well, Ford had a spec racer for a long time called Formula Ford; it was a little open-wheel car powered by the Kent-block four banger, but it was making about 500 hp (think Nissan SR20). I'd like to get an old Fiesta and put that Kent in it. Also, you all know the Renault (pronounced 're-KNOW') LeCar? One of the top reasons why the French suck? Well, one time the folks at Renault took the little transverse engine out of the front of the car and put it where the backseat had been, but now it was making twice or three times it's origional hp, driving the rears. Called it the R1 or something. Cool little car.
My no-limits dream cars: Call me a redneck, but a last-gen Trans-Am WS6...you can't tell me it's not sexy An Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. Did you know Aston Martin's V-12 engine is related to our Duratec family? When Ford accquired AM, the started using Ford stuff, right? Well, the origional architecture for the new 6.0 V-12 came from TWO 3.0L Duratecs (that humble little Taurus motivator) stuck end to end. How cool is that?? And about a thousand more...

lemme see, first i would go with a 87 or 88 porsche 944 turbo fully restored and modified to the max while maintaining stock look.
my second car would be a current generation vw golf, modifled to make it plenty fast while still maintaining its stock look. but it has to be lowered.
o yea. a damn barn so i cant drive my pos tour in there, have it misfire and blow up the engine. caught on fire. and burn to hell.
Experience is the worst teacher; it gives the test before presenting the lesson.

No clue, but it would be powered by NASA, engineered by McLaren and skinned by Pinanfarina...

Being that I just bought a 6 and also just read an autoweek article of a company putting the 2003 SVT engine in a Focus, put two and two together.
Something along the lines of the Ford Falcon. 4 doors, V8 power, RWD, and styling!
