I'd like to add a spotlight to my car (like the kind cops have), but all the ones i see say they are made for chevy impalas, crown vics, etc. so the question is, what spotlights would work on the 98 Contour? Some guy has them on his, but I haven't been able to get a hold of him to ask him him

Thanks again.

No, but there are a lot of contours used as security vehicles that have them, at least there are around here... so there has to be some somewhere that fit on the car.

There are through the roof ones. Work on any car.

But why a permanently mounted, just get a Q-Beam handheld or such.

The lights are the same for the impala, crown, tour, whatever. The problem is the shaft. You drill a hole throug your pillar then cut a 1/2 circle out of the door frame for the door close around the light. Look at a police car closely you will see what im talking about. Its not hard but pretty much not reversiable either. unless you buy a new door. Hence the reason for so many retired cop cars that still have lights.
