When I come on this base, I see the base police there, it reminds me that if some terrorist tries to get on this base and blow us up, it's going to be those police officers who are going to put their lives on the line to keep that from happening.

THAT is what stopped the criminal from getting on base. The ONLY FEMALE there was the only one to act and stop the guy.

So now I'm confused. You just had all the romanticism needed for a movie in the first quote regarding the MPs. Now they're "dumbfounded" and don't know how to handle a guy running from the cops towards the base? Still feeling confident in them?

You really don't believe this is how that story played out do you? C'mon, these guys are trained for this crap. I'll give female cops just as much respect as the guys, but you seem to be playing both sides of the fence.

And FYI, I've been on training missions with the MPs. They typically aren't "sit on their thumbs" kind of people. They can get the job done, and they can get it done NOW! Your story of "reservist female tugs 90 ton spiked sphere into path of speeding fool and saves the entire base but the guys had no friggin' clue how to even call the Base HQ and get some units out there" smells a tad bit fishy.
