Jesus, cut cops some slack. I know there are some bad ones, but they are still the ones risking their lives for you every day, whether you call them or not. Do a ride along sometime, it will change your perspective on things. I have done a few, normal patrols, warrants, etc. You dont ever know who is good and who is bad, who is a criminal and who is a guy on the way to work, who is armed and who isnt, or who will stay calm or try to kick your ass for writing them a ticket. Anything could happen at any time. Just wearing a uniform makes you a target for some sh!t head to shoot at. Anyway, just my rant. Power hungry cops are bad news, but stop lumping the majority of cops in with them. Just remember all the things they do for you everyday, without being called to do so. Stop hating them when you have no idea what its like.
