Of course that was the shortened version, but the main point was given. I do not look at the other cops in my town the same way as I do him, because we are all different. [censored] hypocrite. I find it disappointing that most police officers will take a road to work going 60MPH; and then pull someone over for speeding on the same road for going 50.

I'm glad your okay. I would've expected a lot deeper bruises, but either way I don't think it was right. I have been going to the clubs in Denver for a long time and it seems to be the off duty cops who are dirty. Just the other day I watched a cop egg on a bouncer to get in a fight instead of stopping it. That really pissed me off. But I have met a lot of other cops that are way cool. I hope you get that cop. I would even think that most of the other cops would want him out too. Also, another time when I was downtown a fight broke out. A cop saw it, ran into the mob of people and shot of pepper spray. As soon as that happened the whole crowd paniced. People just started running away from the crowd. All I could picture was a bunch of drunk people trampling over a bunch of other drunk people and in the end making the situation 10 times worse than the one fight was to begin with. I wasn't really saying that the cop was a bad cop, I was just thinking that maybe things could've been thought out a little better. Maybe somebody could give me there opinion on that.

OK, here we go bashing cops again.
All I gotta say is two things, hope you are alright, and that WASN'T right what they did!
AND
You people bashing cops all the time, trying living a life of having a bullseye painted on your back 24/7, and see how much your life and actions change before you judge those that protect you. If you don't like the cops here, go to F'n RUSSIA... Their cops treat you MUCH nicer...

I totally agree. I bet the ones who are calling them "pigs" and saying "f*ck the police" are the one who get caught speeding all the time. Remember guys, like it was pointed out before, the cops will take a bullet for YOU if it comes down to it. Cops have been killed in the line of duty for ppl like you, and you want to say "f*ck them" because YOU were caught breaking the law? MORON.
If there's one thing I am reminded of every single day of my life, it's that even the military police are there to protect and serve US. When I come on this base, I see the base police there, it reminds me that if some terrorist tries to get on this base and blow us up, it's going to be those police officers who are going to put their lives on the line to keep that from happening. Those ppl CHOSE to protect my family & friends.
To those who bash female cops, check this out. Here on this very base, there were about 8 to 10 base police at the checkpoint, only 1 of them were female. They got a call that a man the city police were chasing was heading toward THAT CHECKPOINT. While the guys were sitting on their thumbs dumbfounded about what to do, just as the car was approaching, the only female of the crew grabbed one of the "radiator killers" and drug it in the path of the car. THAT is what stopped the criminal from getting on base. The ONLY FEMALE there was the only one to act and stop the guy. Now think about that before you bash female cops again..... and get this guys, she was a reservist, wasn't even active duty.
For those wondering now, military will know, but a "radiator killer" is a metal spikey object that the military have that if a car runs into it, well you know what happens. It's just made out of steel, they aren't pipes, they are flat pieces of steel that have made into the shape of a ball pretty much, but the edges are filed down to be pointy. They are pretty heavy too. This female pulled that thing into the path of that car, which hit it, and that was that. The city cops arrested the guy.
If it just wasn't right what that cop did IF that's the way it happened. Now Fluid, I only say that cause I wasn't there, so I don't know how it really happened. I am not trying to dog you. I feel for you, I really do. I don't think that cop will be fired though, cause he was off duty, working as a security guard at the time. I DO think you will get some $$$ from this, and more than likely, the cop will get a warning, or suspended for a week or two.
Good luck.

So now I'm confused. You just had all the romanticism needed for a movie in the first quote regarding the MPs. Now they're "dumbfounded" and don't know how to handle a guy running from the cops towards the base? Still feeling confident in them?
You really don't believe this is how that story played out do you? C'mon, these guys are trained for this crap. I'll give female cops just as much respect as the guys, but you seem to be playing both sides of the fence.
And FYI, I've been on training missions with the MPs. They typically aren't "sit on their thumbs" kind of people. They can get the job done, and they can get it done NOW! Your story of "reservist female tugs 90 ton spiked sphere into path of speeding fool and saves the entire base but the guys had no friggin' clue how to even call the Base HQ and get some units out there" smells a tad bit fishy.

No,sorry if I sounded that way, I didn't mean to,just trying to show that not all female cops are morons as someone tried to say. That's all.
They by no means sit on their thumbs......all the time. LOL. I have all confidence in them.
On the note about......Your story of "reservist female tugs 90 ton spiked sphere into path of speeding fool and saves the entire base but the guys had no friggin' clue how to even call the Base HQ and get some units out there" smells a tad bit fishy......... the base paper didn't say anything about the others doing anything, just that she was the one who grabbed the spike and moved it. You also never know how the base police are going to act when it comes to true emergencies. Some may freeze up and have a brain fart, some may act... you never know. You also have to remember, 'training missions' are one thing, but when you have the 'real thing' coming at you, God only knows what'll happen. Maybe she acted quicker than the rest, we don't know. Like I said, I was just trying to show not all women cops are idiots.
It's all good.

Any possible surveillance video from storefronts you could have your lawyer ask for?
