DUDE, OMG, what a$$holes. Well, gather your witnesses, you got an attorney, brilliant. Get em, and yes, keep us informed. So far you have done all you can do. Keep those pics too. They will need to be used as evidence as well.
I cannot believe they did that, watch them try to settle with you for some chump change too, don't let them.

In police defense, there was a lot of sh!t going down and they did what they could to handle it... I think there might me parts of the story that are being left out.. If not.. I am very sorry about the situation and you have a potential to make a little bit of money from this.. mistakes can be made. I agree with whoever said if they gave you a "beating" you would definitely be beat up a lot worse... cops know how to use those night sticks and they are plesant to be hit with.

You were told to leave, while there was a man running around with a gun, and you didnt. Plain and simple. You pulled away from a cop, everyone knows not to pull away from a cop, it doesnt matter what your doing, how does he know you dont have your own gun, or your not going to grab his?

Cops have little or no clue what is happening on a scene when they arrive. If they do not get everyone out of there they have the potential of starting a riot, especially when alcohol is involved. Beating you down is much more simple than beating down the intire street.

You have some bumps and bruises, my friend needed 30 stiches and spent 2 seperate days in surgery to reconstruct part of his face. You got off lightly. But youll get some money, for not listening, you all do.

DUDE CHAD...i hope your alright bro....A similar situation happend to me but not to that extent. i was walking down the street, and a cop takes me down from behind. Says, she say me running away from a car break in. Well the night in question i happened to be with the friend of the family, who happend to be the cops Boss (the patrol sargent). Well one thing lead to another and i asked a question and the cop began hitting me with his night stick....well me hateing aturity i fought back and disarmed the cop,well more cops showed up (by disarmed i mena i took his night stick and unloaded his gun) and they pin me down....well i hear this familar voice shouting:

"what the fuc- do you think you doing...let him go right now or your all suspended"

It was my friend....I explaied what happend and that the cop that dtried to arest me, did not explain my rights, nore did he give me any...needless to say he believe me over the cop (working for 2 months) and thenhe explained to his supirors that i was with him the night in question.

Well the cop got fired, and i got a settlement for the city for 3x my medical amount....(after that i had about 40,000 left form paying my bills....20,000 was my medical bills becasue i needed reabilitation.)

But now i have one thing to say:

"I smell bacon, i smell pork, run piggy piggy cause i got a fork!"
