Similar thing happened to my bro at CMU. He was waiting for his friends after stepping outside. One of the bouncers said to move along to which he replied, "Just waiting for friends." Bouncer said ok hurry up. Then when he saw his friends he walked toward the door. All of a sudden a cop rushed up and cuffed him and took him to jail. Got charged with trespassing and something else. He had to plead guilty since he was drinking. No one would believe him. Now he has a record. My bro is the most laid back guy you'd ever meet. If you know me personally then he's about 5x more laid back.
Sucks big time. I hope justice is served.
