You're lucky. I had a friend that REALLY got beat up by the cops. He had to get plastic surgery on his nose to fix it, 44 stitches in his head, 12 stitches to his lip, torn ligaments in his elbow, some intestinal damaged from the stomping (sh!tted blood for a couple days), and numerous other scrapes and bruises. All this for refusing the cops order to leave the scene of another beatdown they gave to a different guy. We took pictures and hired a lawyer. The case is still pending.
