One of these days I'll get off my lazy butt and make a shunt that can be triggered off of MAF voltage or something, so it ends up clamping the TPS below ~4k and letting it show full voltage at higher.
Why don't you just sell it then, if you really don't like the car? Those hi-tech bandades for the TPS circuit only hamper power output, and I don't know about you but wide open throttle is the main time when I like driving my car the best!
