OMG, yeah, I love China Buffet, real good food there. I like Old Country as well. I am a buffet hog. I love them. I don't do Shoney's very often though. Last time I did, I wasn't impressed.
I have only been to the Charleston Club once, that was for a pre-deployment family briefing before my hub went to Saudi. It was ok considering we only had finger foods.
My hub is with Civil Engineering. He's a plumber basically, but an outdoor plumber. Yes ppl, there IS a difference in the military. I think, don't construction companies put in fire hydrants and sewer lines in the cities? Or do actual plumbers do that too??
Anyway, he's in the Outdoor Utilities shop. They do fire hydrants, sewer lines, that sort of thing. There is a separate shop, the Interior shop, that does indoor plumbing such as toilets and sinks and things on military buildings. There is a housing office, run by civilians that do the base housing problems, unless it's after hours, then it my hub or his coworkers, whoever is on call that week. He likes it, keeps him busy, but there's a few ppl at work he could do without. He was so happy being away from the morons when he was in Saudi that he told me if they had a 3yr family tour over there, he would have volunteered for it and brought us over.
