From what I remember (I know mine don't) the Zetecs didn't have PATS so how would that work out? Would he need the igntion switch\cylnder from a PATS equipped Tour to make it even work?



My Zetec died one too many times so I got a new car. 1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI with T-5 M/T, high flow cat, custom cat back exhuast. Soon to be home to a LS1 stroked to a 383 with a T-56. Hey Brad, want to race?

PATS is the least of your worries when switching engines. It's easily defeatable, atleast compared to an engine swap.

so can't you just take the svt focus heads and ecu and be done with it?

little more work than that. but why would you do that when you can get an esslinger head package?

so you can deal with the VCT on the intake cam..... and you still wouldn't have the compression ratio you have on a full SVT focus motor either so you don't have the full 170hp

I have about 155hp at the crank adding back the drivetrain loss.
