Thanks! I'm going to post some stats about the WRX that I saw on MotorWeek in another thread.
Nationals. Well I don't get much time off, so if it isn't reasonably close to TX right now then I probably can't make it. I could make a 300 mile drive for a 3 day weekend, but I can't go much farther than that. Where are they anyway? BTW, is your car a duratech or a Zetec? I have some ideas I want to try out and I need some guinea pig cars that are close.

There are three ways to do things: the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!
Isn't that just the wrong way?
Yeah, but faster!

HaHaHa! I was 25 yrs old when I finally realized my old man didn't know everything, and 28 when I realized he didn't know near as much as I thought he did! lol
Oh year, 21 before I realized I didn't know everything
BTW Stazi, I came up with a beautiful manual boost controller...on paper. No electronics but it looks like it can do everything I want and will use both sides of the wastegate diaphragm. Machining is the problem as some tolerances are tight and I only have a cheap drill press. I have an electrical solenoid one figured out, and that would probably be easier and cheaper in the long run, but not as elegant. Like a digital versus analog watch. Are you interested in any joint colaboration?

Yeah I have a ton of access to manufacturers over here. I see you sent me an email, so we will take the discussion offline and go from there.

I don't know, but I'd assume loss to be the standard 17% for the MTX that we normally use around here. That equates to roughly 360HP if you were wondering!

"After about 15-20 consistent dyno runs the car runs 297-300 wHP with 260+ TQ on 91 octane" is that on the stock motor or what?
