Ho many SVT's in the 13 sec. range??? Less than a dozen???

Yes but they have no parts. What crappy intakes a weak SC set up, maybe cams custom exhaust work at best. Come on. There isnt a performance part made that our zetec dont have. Hell ford even makes a Performance head for our motors. We can put 300HP down with out sprayin its not impossible and with Nitrous that should put a tour (with no spare jack etc) in the 13 second range.
Well a MTX. I think the SVTC looks great and is a nice car. But i would rather have my little ol zetec.

I SHOULD be there after the Quaife install.
I was running 14.4's before cam gears and optomized TB.
Add a Quaife, which should cut 1/10 or more of the 60' which equals 2/10 off the 1/4 mile.
I hoping for 13.8's
Then cams themselves should cut 2-3 tenths off that.
Dyno tune the whole setup, reburn the chip, and then start dealing with traction issues.

Mmmm.. no 13 sec ??? I've checked over and over I dont have a slip to prove it but... I've counted my time from 0-60 and made 15sec. here's the interesting point I went from 0-80km and made 12sec because I'm running with 17" wheels 25kg each, it runs faster than the speedometer records.. so my mtx should be around the 13 second mark.. I really need to check that but i cant be wrong

eehhhhh...he doesn't mean 13 sec. 0-60. He means 13 sec. 1/4 mile.
For example, my car ran a 16.5 1/4 mile with a trap speed (speed at the end of the 1/4 mile) of 85.8 mph.
I honestly don't know what my 0-60 time is, so I can't give it for comparison. Studying my 1/4 mile run tells me it's probably in the 8-9 sec. range.

ok i gotta stand up for the boosted zetecs im not gonna really mention my 1/4th times till im done workin on my car, BUT ill tell you this as a hint... "not slow" would define the little car i drive
Turbo'd Cougar 2.0L w/ 75 shot ... its got some stuff in it ...
NOT that fast NOT that furious :P
