I started really early and kept leaving to go to other stuff while it dried. The can of clear said for the paint to be tacky before another coat (not fully dried) so that didnt take long and I finished sometime after 12, so yeah it was for a good 7 hours or so. I also did it in my basement which was dry and cool so the paint dried in no time wiht light coats.
