and that's fine.. but if you intend on painting soft plastic, you have to sand, and use filler primer.. otherwise paint will chip and or straight up peel off.

Then again, I put about 10 coats of clear on my door pieces.. smooth as a babies bottom and it would take a chisel to chip it.
