I have replaced my IAC once. The IAC that I cleaned successfully was the replacement IAC and not the stock one. At least for the 2000 V-6s there was only one part number from the dealer where I bought mine from. I even asked him if the SVT was any different and he replied no. The 95's might be different but I am pretty sure there is only one part number for the 2000 2.5 IAC, SVT or non-SVT. The other years I am not sure about.

Can anyone post a picture of where the IAC is located or atleast give a good description of where it's located in relation to something easier to find. I am going to make an attempt to clean mine, but I'm not 100% sure where it is located. Thanks for any help.

The part number of the replacement IAC I got is XS2Z-9F715-BB. Can someone tell me if this is the correct part for a 2000 SVT? Although it fit, I'm now concerned about if it is the right part based on some responses in this thread. I would like to be certain.

does anyone else have trouble searching for part numbers at fordpartsonline.com?

i can find the newer IAC, which i need (XS2Z9F715BB), but i can't find the gasket nor the tube assembly which is listed in the TSB, and the FAQ

BTW, the FAQ lists the IAC as XS2Z9F715BA which can not be found by any of the online parts dBs i've tried. the other parts it lists (the tube assembly and the gasket) are:
F8RZ9H308AA - Air Valve Tube Ass'y
E83Z9F670A - Gasket

but i can't find them. any ideas?

thanks
-eric

this number matches the original one I just removed from my '99 CSVT, so I would think it's correct.

I went to felpro gaskets for the IAC gasket, IIRC. I think the part number may be in the 3L forum (in the "stickied" parts list post).

I have been having a problem where it idles very rough. The whole car shakes at times. At other times it was fine. Now today I started it and it stalled right after it turned over. Then it ran fine and when I took it out for a drive, at certin lights it would idle at 2k............then down to 1.3k for a bit. Even after I bliped the trottle it didnt help. Now, it is fine. I have changed plugs, wires,LIM and UIM gaskets,PCV valve and cleaned everything. Is the IAC the problem you think? I have cleaned it in the past a few times before. I have 79k on the clock.
