Yeah, the Strykes is splitting image of the Parts Express amp and the Adire AVA250. Its got more power compared to the other two, which are both 250 watts. One thing that Part Express had (and the Strykes, too) is a 6 dB boost at about 30 Hz. This is actually bad for a home theater sub-woofer if you have a good driver that goes down to ~20 Hz or lower. The boost will add to a "one-note bass" quality. A flat response will sound better. The Adire AVA250 does not have this boost.
I have not check on PE amp for sometime, but they may have started to offer the amp without that boost. There are a number of resources available with instructions on disabling the boost circuit. So if you're handy with a solder iron, it can be fixed if its still there.
