I have never heard of the Crossfire brand, so I am curious to know if their any good. Secondy, how tight/clean will a band pass box be, I do not want a "farty/buzzing" sound.

Crossfire stuff is OK, but I think you could do better.

I think I would be very disapointed with the set-up even for my beater car.

The amp looks good but not for the sub.

I have heard the amps before and they are just as good as most amps. BiPolar op amps, Class A/B are all good stuff.

From what I have heard of the subs they are power hungry and simply lack. With low power you want Low moving mass and High motor force, which I don't think you have with the sub.

Since you are considering just a 2 channel amp, get more power and you don't have to look for low moving mass subs.

I avoid band pass because they can sound boomy.
Band pass and Ported boxes tend to peak across a small range of frequencies. With proper tuning you can get a band or port to play low frequencies and over a wide band.
MOST STORE BOXES will sound Boomy By DESIGN.

Still an EXTERNAL amp on all speakers will sound better than the amp in your head unit and one power grabbing external amp on sub.

I still want to shot the guy who sold me a 80 watt Alpine for the sub and 25 watt head unit for door speaker set up.

After fighting with the Store for my money back I went down the street and spent a few more dollars on 3 Orion Cobalt amps for all speakers for a 100% better system.
