Just a comment.

Got a set of Bridgestone Turanza LS-H for my stock rims (205/60R15). These replace some BFG Touring TR that were on the car when I bought it 6 months ago. One tire had bad shoulder wear from mis-alignment that was was causing belt seperation. The others seem to have at least half their tread left. The ride was harsh with these tires so I decide to try something else.

First impression of the Turanza - quiet! Those BFG were very noisy, something I didn't know until they were gone. The ride harshness drop a notch. I'm not an agressive driver but roadholding seems to go up a few notches. All in all, great tire for day to day driving with the Contour.

Waiting for some rain to see what wet weather performance is like.

Tirerack's got some great comments on the LS series. They've got LS-V's and LS-Z's for more speed rating. The guy at tirerack recommended these when I asked if there was a good compromise between performance and ride comfort. They may be my next set ...

Yeah, the TireRack comments is what sold me on trying these.

And I did order them from TireRack.

It is good to hear some positive input on the tires I am planning to replace those terrible in the rain, cheap OEM Conti Touring tires on our Taurus SEL wagon. Might even put them on the 'Tour, longer lasting and better ride. The Firestone SZ 50 EP's are still awesome tires!

I'm leaning more and more to the LS-T's for the 'van.
