I just got this in. The first is a Cougar shift knob that fit's all Contiques with the MTX75, check out the matching revers lockout shaft, also aluminum looking. Here are the part #'s, and I can not order anything unitl I get to my new Dealership in Las Vegas :p

(knob)1S8Z*7213*BB KNOB List $38.45 CEG $29.99
(shaft)1S8Z*7210*AC ACTUATOR List $10.27 CEG $8.01

The next is a listing I got in for 17" Focus wheels, I do not see why this would not fit on any other Contique ro Cougar.

bill,

can you get sets of those spine drive lug nuts?
how much do they run?

I know the McGards ones are over $100 for a set of spline drives.

the 47mm offset might be the only thing keeping them from fitting properly.

Yummy!
I've been hounding this board for a long time re: shift knobs. Now the metal looking reverse lockout shaft seals the deal! Nice!

The square Contour knob is a joke. It used to hurt my hand until I figured out how to grip it differently.

I'll wait to order one when you do your move. Best wishes at your new job!

Mark,

I'm not Bill ! I think what he has is only the cover with the lockout knob that would replace your stack black one. It should not be any shorter. I'm pretty sure abou this.

later,

Chris

Actually the B&M comes with an aliminium reverse lockout "mechanism". The stock one is the black plastic piece you see. This piece looks to be a replacement for the black plastic piece, not just a cover.

AS for the stock knob, I absolutely hated it until I put it on my B&M! Wen ton abotu 3 months ago and has been there since! If I Hadn't already spent too much $$ on shift knobs, I'd be all over that. Maybe somewhere down the road though!

Good luck on the road Bill! Let us know that you make it to your new destination safely!
