I have a 1996 Contour GL. I get a vibration at the steering wheel while idling while in Drive.
When I shift to neutral there is less vibration.

I've replaced the timing belt (with new pulley )and Serpentine belt. What's next?
Motor mounts?

My wife's 96 GL has had a low idle for 6 months
have replaced just about everything except the
motor.
Only thing left is the tension pulley, to be done
soon.

A chip is supposed to help. raises or lowers rpm in idle or something. cost some $$$ though.
