You need to be careful.. The Zetec is an interference motor and if that belt snaps you could have alot more issues on your hands than just replacing the belt... Just lookin out for ya... Mine was making that same noise and when I took the car apart the belt was shot and ready to fail.. My car had 90000 miles on it and Ford recommends replacement around 75000 miles if I'm not mistaken. It is a pain in the A$$ if you want to do it yourself.... I had alot of fun doin it.
