Hey everyone...I was just wondering something. I went to CTA motor sports and it seems that the price for the superchip went up....Is that true or has it always been like that? Its finally time to get the old tour moving a little faster, so i have decided on a superchip...I hope i am not as dissapointed in the chip as i was with my intake

buy used and get kkm to reprogram and don't worry bout if CTA's prices went up.

How much money would it save me if i was to do that? I am getting itchy, so if i send my used chip in to get it re programed, i hope it won't take too long.

i saved $50-$60 and it won't take long to get the chip programmed. i had guy i bought chip from send it to KKM, they got it reprogrammed it and sent out to me.

do the engine codes have to mach or does reburning it fix that?

You have to give them the engine code, thats what they reburn it with.

Oh and by the way mine was around $250.00 shipped, and it was here in less than a week. I was watching Ebay and the classifieds but decided after the chip, shipping to and from KKM, and the cost of a re-burn, I might as well buy a brand new chip. To me the peace of mind was worth the extra $45.00!

if you do buy a used chip. try to make sure it's no older than 2 years or they may not be able to reprogram it.
