Hello all. I got the car back yesterday and the "kit" was installed rather than the new dash that is sitting in my dealer's part's department. My service Advisor as well as the Tech that installed it said that it looks like ****, (I have to agree.)
The Service manager is supposed to be contacting the Zone Manager on Monday to get an override so they can install the new dash. One bright spot is that they did not install the wide black metal pice that gets riveted to the dash. I do have an annoying rattle in the dash around the instrument cluster. As much as I like my 'Tour if I had it to do all over again I might have left it on the lot at Carmax.
Once I get this dash thing fixed and the high speed vibration licked I might even actually enjoy driving it again.
