I didn't misunderstand him because I asked him specifically "So you're saying its gonna cost me a total of 475 bucks?" and he said yes. This was when I was about to order the chip and he was asking me what mods I had. From what he told me Superchip just started charging this much so maybe it wasn't that way the last time you talked to them but apparently it is now and it only applies if you have the MSDS headers. Sounds retarded to me but SPMotor guys are saying that Superchip has to "custom" write a program because of the headers.
He did say you could order the chip and just tell them all the mods you have except for the MSDS headers and avoid that 250 "custom programming" charge but it may not run right (too lean) and if you decide to send the chip back on the 30 day return deal you don't get your $250 programming fee back.
