Mine has a different problem. When I want to fully open it (as opposed to tilting it up) it tilts down like a quarter of an inch and stops, I have to reverse direction (quickly) then try to open it again for it to open fully, the problem is much worse in cold weather and it hardly does it at all when it is really hot outside. I have lubed everything and nothing appears to be binding, although I think something must be.
