cooool. does the svt have any suspension work done? i wish there was a little track around here. i'd probably spend every extra bit of money i have there. i'm afraid i'm gonna get caught "testing" my suspension one of these days.

Chad's wheels are too big, that's what slowing him down. . .down grade to some 17's, add some azenizi's (in 225/45's) and voila, he's mopping the floor. . .

Chad is running 17's right now. Once we each make our next round of mods we'll both be faster but I bet we'll still be very close. Until my motor swap that is.
And for those asking about Chad's suspension he's running ST200 struts/shocks with Eibachs.

Damn, I wish I had the SHO back together, I would have liked to have gone. I'm still waiting on my frigging warranty replacement clutch - 4 weeks and counting

Yep...Eibach and ST200. I also have homemade Poly sway bar end link bushings which definitely are an improvement over my shot rubber stockers. The wheels are light....17lbs a piece and tires are Kumho's which do not actually do that bad when heated up.
My 3rd gear synchro is GONE so shifting is a chore!!! If I was able to beat on it a little more I am sure I would have been a second or 2 faster. Double clutching is my friend and Steve Mcqueen has nothing on me!!!

For those who haven't gotten their cars on a track, do so. Very worth it. Last track event I beat my car silly. The smell of brakes and rubber in the air was like being back in mommas kitchen. Mmm mm.

That sucks Terry! The Vitek clutch didn't hold up huh? Once your machine is up and running you'll have to join us again. Your SHO was a lot of fun out there last time!
