wildlife... just gotta love it, sometime you just can't stand it... Ok. here's the deal... lastnight driving home, it was dark and there happened to be a friggin armadillo which is now road kill in the road right in front of me and of course there was oncomming traffic soooooooo... armadillo looses... my bumper on the other hand didn't win either... Only paint damage though, the carbon fiber held up extremely well considering I hit this thing going about 65!! No cracks or anything, just paint that came off in CHUNKS!! Ah well, off to get body filler and paint and fix this thing up... Anyone for grilled armadillo???

At least it wasn't a bobcat. Not long after I got my SVT, I found that one fit nicely in the lower bumper intake--particularly at 40mph.
No observable damage at the time, but when my A/C cut out a few days later, I discovered that the P/S cooler had punctured the condenser from the impact. Some of the grille clips came loose, but the grille itself was compliant enough that it wasn't damaged.
Surprisingly, dealer fixed the condenser under warranty.
