I just went out and did a search on the net for different companies that sell body parts. I found a whole lot of stuff for the Contour and the SVT model. Like grilles, headlight assemblies, bumper covers, OEM spoilers, etc. Unfortunatley none of the sites I visited listed body moldings.

However, one of the great things Ford does is they put their part number on just about every part they make. So if you took the broken side skirt and look it over you'll find the Ford part number. Just take that number to your local Ford dealer and they can look it up and get you a price.

Now remember, a replacement side skirt is likely going to come with just grey or black primer and will have to be painted to match. I'd say that a fair estimate would be that the painting will cost as much as the skirt and I'll wager on the skirt costing about $150 - $180 with about $100 to $150 for paint and then some more for instalation, They're looking at about $400 to $500 if you decide to go the route of replacing the part.

The side skirt being made of plastic, unless its damamged beyond recognition it can be repaired by a shop that knows their stuff for less than the cost of a new one.

Or maybe check out the calssifides section of this site and see if anyone is selling a used one, or post an ad letting others know you're looking for one. I'm sure that with the number of people installing aftermarket body kits on their cars there's likely to be someone out there with the stock parts sitting around looking for a new home. Again, you may need to have some paint work done to match up the new one with the rest of the car.
