I know that this topic has been beat to death but I just needed to vent. You would think with the Subies and Evos fighting to the death over here across the pond, Furd would want to get in on the action. BRING US THE TURBO RS FOCUS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! It is obvious that the market exists.

AFAIK, SVT is profitable or at least self sustaining. (Now that I think about it, probably not, but anyway...) If the RS was brought over here, then less FSVT's would sell. I am sure that the FSVT is somebody important's brainchild and they refuse to let it not succeed. We have to suffer for thier portfolio

The main problem has always been that Ford doesn't think anyone here will buy a $30K Focus. Now that the STi and Evo are in high demand, though, maybe they'll take a chance.

I do believe the RS is still only FWD.

SVT should have put more balls in the Focus to begin with instead of just putting "enough" power in to compete with the lame new Si.
I don't get why SVT puts so much power in the Cobra and Lightning, but the cars it makes, although very well balanced and capable, tend to be lacking in this area
