just wondering, i haven't found a "pulley upgrade" , and i wanna see if i can run higher than 5psi. since basically all the J/R superchargers are the same, anyone know if ic an use the upgraded pulley of 8 psi i believe from a Honda s/c? also, would my tranny be able to handle it then?

At 8psi you would be at the absolute limit of the ATX. ((8/14.7)*130)+130=200.75HP These are absolute ideal conditions. If you don't have a big-ass tranny coller, you're going to need one. That and an external filter/temp guage.

I don't know about the pulley. If the Honda is using the same supercharger and the pulley has the same number of "ribs" for the belt, it should work.

BTW, what did you do for fuel management?

no fuel management, don't need it. Jackson Racing says i don't need anyhting else. just bolted it up and go , but im getting a new fuel rail and injectors anyway.

u should get bigger pump too IMHO... i was sure there was a smaller pulley made for the zetec JR supercharger... maybe not

Bigger inj or same? Just remember the rule, you added more air in, you need to do more for the rest of the combustion cycle....Did JR send you a new chip or no? If you are running the older chip that has not been burned with the SC option, you are probably hurting on PWR! Re-burn it. Be careful with your PSI and that ATX. They are stout but you will be at limit and is your ATX new, rebuilt....? The more HP/torque you add has to go somewhere, make sure your tranny is ready and YES a cooler is a necessity.

There should be a smaller pulley option for the S/C in the upcoming months (boost goes up from 4-9psi) You need fuel management. The stock injectors for the Zetec are only good up to 175hp. When you buy the Jackson Racing S/C upgrade it does come with a box that is supposed to adjust air fuel and such. Don't go in blind...your car will blow up.

it came with this boxy thing that u hook up, but it says for focuses only... so i never put it on, ive run without the chip and it seems better, but im gunna have them reburn my chip tho.... how much hp can the ATX hold? is it just hte ATX or the drive axles?

i believe the atx can "handle" 200ft lbs of torque. no idea if any1 is running this in a 'tour though. i know the supercharged escapes handle more than that somehow.

The Focus has a different (and much stronger) ATX than the CDW-27 platform has.

Um no read the Focus forums...the Focus has a weaker ATX.
