I have a Contour 1995 V4 2.0L

I've see here some post about the factory amp.

Does I really need to bypass this amp?

For me, it will be more simple to cut the wires.

Where I can find the good color-diagram for my car to cut-n-joint the wires and bypass the factory amp?

Thanks

Because your aftermarket CD player already has a built-in amp. You need to find out if you have a factory amp, first, though. If you don't have one, you don't need to bypass it 'cause it's not there!

Are you adding anything to your car's system? Like new speakers, CD player, subwoofaz, or amps? If you're not adding anything, then don't bother with the amp bypass. That's only for cars that are adding an aftermarket head unit.

I noticed that, too, but I didn't want to be an ass.

I've change the default radio(am-fm-tape) that come with the car, to a new one with CD player that can play MP3.

And in a little future, i want to change my rear speakers too.

enough to bypass the amp or is not necessary?

First question does your car have the factory amp. Not all the contiques have them. And second if you bypass the amp you will get alot clearer sound and not distorted. Pluse you can blow your speakers by the distorted signal. If you want to do it your self here are the codes.

OK here we go.
You will need a pack of splice connectors for 16-14 gage wire.
Electrical tape. A crimp tool would be usefull for the splices. You can pick them up pritty cheap or maybe a neighbor might have one.
The small square connector is from the radio and the wide flat connector is from the amp, to the speakers. There are three wires on the wide flat connector you don't need, I just left theme alone and taped up the connector with electrical tape after cutting the other wores off. The three wires on that big connector are Black/Yellow, Orange/Yellow, White. They are the three on the connector buy themselves. All the speaker wires are in a row.
From Radio..............To Speakers
White/red......RF+......Brown/Red
Brown........RF-......White/red
Pale Green.....LF+......Brown/yellow
White/Orange...LF-......White/Black
Purple/wite....RR+......Brown
Light Blue.....RR-......White
Light Blue/Black.LR+......Brown/White
Yellow.......LR-......White/Violet
