My factory foglights keep burning out. I guess that it's from vibration but I'm not sure, and I think that maybe driving lights would be better. Are there any other companies that make driving lights for the CSVT's beside Piaa. Or is there a company that makes a stronger bulb that I could use?

stock bulbs are model #893 which are 37.5 watts iirc. you can upgrade to 885's and are 50 watt. u may be having some condensation getting inside your lighting assembly to cause your bulbs to burn out.

My fogs were cracked, allowing water to get in, which caused my fogs to burn out quickly. Took em out and glued the cracks. Hopefully my new 885s will last a long time (crosses fingers).

This is going to sound dumb, but when your replacing the bulbs, are you touching the glass with your fingers? Cause if so, then your body oil will prematurely burn out the bulb.

I thought about that, but the last time that i put the bulbs in. I made sure that nothing touched them.

Take the lights out, and bring them inside.

Clean them up really well and check to see if there are any cracks. I had some on my Mystique fogs.

I filled the lights with water and checked for leaks. Turns out I missed a couple hairline cracks.

I dryed the lamps out, and used "Goop" cement on them. Worked like a charm. I haven't blown a bulb in nearly a year.

Also if you do touch a bulb, clean it up with a little alcohol wipe from a first aid kit. Works wonders.

Lardy.
